Hi everyone and Happy Easter x
This week has been full of fantastic creations that have been made here in our very own Sewing Studio.
So let me show you whats been going on….
First up – Our children’s Sewing Bee. The children range from 8yrs – 16yrs divided into three groups. It’s amazing how popular this has become and I’ve had to start a waiting list. They get to have a go at all aspects of sewing and here’s what they have been up to…

Our crochet workshop was also in full swing and learning a new skill – Tunisian Crochet.
Our Crochet and Knitting runs every Saturday just pop me a message to book.
The three-part quilting workshop came to an end on Wednesday evening. I’m so proud of the ladies that took part. Over the three weeks they have learnt to use a rotary cutter safely, measure and cut blocks, piecing their quilt tops , basting, quilting and binding.
The end products are amazing….
Its seem the ladies have caught the quilting bug :)…
I began a quilting project myself this week …… I’m a huge fan of bargello quilts so I decided to have a go. This was an experience to say the least, after blunting 3 rotary cutter blades, using over 300 metres of thread and some serious sewing time but I’m so pleased with it…..
Thats it for another week guys, we are closed Bank Holiday Monday but back open Tuesday normal hours. Thank you so much for your support this week.
See you next week…..Have a fab weekend. x
