Hi Everyone,

Well what a week……

New in

This week more deliveries arrived, new knitting patterns and good old-fashioned craft books….knitting, crochet, quilting and textiles books have replenished our bookshelves.

Finally after being nagged about blogging a tutorial I sat down and blogged a tutorial 🙂 . A quilt as you go shopping bag which you can find on the blog or  click here

The Sewing Studio came alive again on Thursday night with our popular beginners sewing workshop.  This time the end project was a enveloped cushion.  So in 2 hours of getting creative, having a laugh, giggle, tea and biscuits the cushions were finished and ready to take home.

I’ve also had the chance to finish off a couple of UFP’s (unfinished projects) ….

But we’ve also celebrated our 2nd Birthday this week……. I just wanted to say thank you for everyone’s support over the last two years. Its been so overwhelming and I’ve met some many fantastic people. It’s the best job in the world x

Fabric, Yarns AND a finished project.

First off, I do apologise for not blogging last week. We have been ridiculously busy downstairs in the Haberdashery and work is still being done upstairs BUT hopefully by the end of next week I’ll have some exciting news to share with you – Fingers very tightly crossed.

Anyway back to this week…The fabric order finally arrived

It appears you love them like we do, hence fabrics sales have been through the roof this week.

But we can’t forget the yarn order. We have restocked on all Robin DK colours and we’ve had three new shades in the Robin DK Comfy baby yarn which is super soft and fantastic quality. Along side that we’ve had a few more knitting and crochet patterns.

I’ve also finished my 3rd piece of free motion embroidery , mounted on a canvas. A lot bigger than my other two though 🙂
