Fabrics, Hedgehogs and More Discounts

Hi Everyone,

Now its this time of year that I love…..(people think I’m mad).

I love the cold frosty mornings, dark cosy nights, hot chocolate, bonfire night, snow, being cosy and of course Christmas. But this the perfect time of year for crafting and you lot have definitely proved it this week both in the Haberdashery and online.

Lets start with this weeks discounts.

As you are aware we have reduced our price on our sewing classes right up until the end of the year. So now its time to reduce our Knitting & Crochet Workshops.

From now, up until Christmas there is a 10% discount for booking online through our online shop…..BOOK HERE

Please note – all of our workshops are on a first come first serve basis, the workshops are booking up quickly. If the workshop you are interested is booked up we do have a waiting list. You just email to pop me a quick email with your details and I will add you to our list.

New stock has also arrived this week (even though one delivery didn’t turn up on time)

I’m still busy working away on my City & Guilds Coursework in the hope that I can get the majority of the course finished before the Christmas break. However I have started a new project 🙂 As many of you know I am a huge fan of Hedgehogs so I’ve decided to make a Hedgehog themed quilt….. and this is the first couple of blocks…

Can I also remind everyone about our Free Workshop Open Day in a few weeks time

And lastly, thank to everyone that has donated Christmas Decorations so far, we still have a month to go, so please keep them coming….

Thank you all for your support, it’s so over whelming to have your custom and to see your lovely makes, you are so talented.

The Christmas List…..Part one!

Hello everyone,

We’ve had so much fun this week in the haberdashery. Its been a busy kind of week even with the poor weather.

I had a gorgeous present from one of my lovely customers Yvonne at Crazy Creations.

With Halloween out-of-the-way we now have our sights set on our first Christmas in our new home. Mum couldn’t wait to get the Christmas decorations out. She’s been busying away with the window display.

Now on to the first part of our Christmas list.

If you are stuck on what to put on your letter to Santa this year, then never fear we’ve got a few idea’s for you.

That’s it……Christmas is coming.xx

Its been none stop this week in the Haberdashery.

But its been half term here in Derbyshire so I’ve had my little man to help me

AND it was his 10th birthday on Thursday. So me and hubby managed to book the afternoon off to spend as a family. Even though I love birthdays it is quite sad to see your little ones grow up isn’t? But I’ve loved having him around to help me out.

So whats been happening this week….

Its been tremendously busy with customers new, old and people travelling from far and wide. We had a record amount of yarn sales, seems everyone is getting set for winter. We’ve met so many talented people of all ages. Here’s one of our young and talented……

I finished my quilt art/thread art. Loopy Sue set me a challenge do make a Tutankhamun, what do you think? I’m quite pleased with it, it’s not perfect but I think I’ve done ok!

Donations for the Hospice have been coming in thick and fast. All the decorations are gorgeous and the ladies have been working hard. I’m really grateful for everyone’s time and generosity. We have another month to go before we hand them over…….so keep up the good work ladies and gents.

Now are you ready to be bombarded with pics. We’ve had a fabric delivery and its topped us up nicely. Here’s most of them in all their glory. Cottons, poly cottons and muslins.

And halloween…did you have a good one. I hope you all dressed up for the occasion. But now Halloween’s been and gone it’s now time to get the haberdashery prepped for Christmas and we can’t wait (especially Mum).

It will be our first Christmas in our new home…..can’t wait. I’ll be posting pics of our Christmas window display very soon.

Yet again thank you all for your support. It’s lovely to see your makes. It’s defiantly the best part of my job as well as receiving your lovely comments and feedback.
