An eventful Week :)

Well we are back from our holidays and I would like to say a big thank you to my Mum & Dad for taking over for me for the week.

It’s been great to recharge my batteries, but now its all systems go in the Haberdashery now we’re back šŸ™‚

Lets start with the first Free-motion Workshop we held on Thursday evening.

I had three lovely ladies join me. They all worked extremely hard (2 hours of free-motion isn’t easy). We had fantastic results and I’m very proud of all of them.

This is their first go practising

By the end of the session they had produced lovely samples to take home with them šŸ™‚

A good evenings work šŸ™‚

I haven’t had time to sort the Autumn/Winter workshops this week but I’m hoping to get some time to sit down with my diary and organise further dates.

I can confirm though that there will be workshops on Christmas buntings and Stockings, Patchwork and quilting day sessions, free-motion and hand embroidery, knitting, crochet and some great beginners workshops too. I’ll let you know ASAP.

Yesterday we made our way to Birmingham NEC for the Quilting Festival. Its our annual girlie day out and it just gets better every year. Heres a pick of our favorites –

That is just a tiny amount of the gorgeous quilts that were on show from around the world.

Ok so lets talk about Facebook. For over a week now Facebook has stopped the majority of our followers seeing our posts. If you are one of them please save us as a favourite to guarantee you can see our posts. Or you can follow us on Twitter @Sneedlecraft, or subscribe to this Blog

We are starting to sell more on FB for our followers that are not local to us. Next week we are having a sale on Merino Yarns and craft kits so don’t miss out.

So whats on the cards for next week –  A delivery hopefully, I’m starting my new coursework which I’m really looking forward too. But sometimes I can get a bit bogged down with the course so I always have a project on the go so I can alternate……So I,m starting this lovely quilt panel I’ll let you know how it goes.
