Half term, home makes and competitions

So it’s half term here in Derbyshire which means I’ve had my little helper with me ๐Ÿ™‚ and I’ve also met a very talented young lady Freya, 12 years old.

Freya came into the Haberdashery to show me her makes of dolls clothes, blankets and pillows all hand sewn ๐Ÿ™‚ย  She’s got lots more to show us so which I can’t wait to see and I’ll keep you all posted. x

I passed my 2nd module of my City & Guilds. Not many more to do now ๐Ÿ™‚

And Singer have teamed up with Savile Row tailor Patrick Grant to offer anyone purchasing a new Singer machine a chance to win a place in a sewing session with patrick himself.

Whats in the pipeline for next week,

Me and my lovely Mum will be spending the day at the NEC in Birmingham at a trade event. We’re hoping to find some lovely bits and bobs for you all and getting to meet new suppliers.
